Laminates

Laminated glass consist of two or more panes of float glass bonded together by an interlayer consisting of one or more sheet of polyvinyl (PVB), which provides a high degree of personnel safety and security.  When impact is made the glass will crack, but will be held together by PVB interlayer.

Toughened Glass

6mm toughened safety glass ensure safety as well as rigidity to compliment the high rise application.  In the unlikely event of the glass breaking, small blunt fragmented pieces of glass will occur thus minimising the risk of injury

Temper shield conforms to SABS 1263/1 safety performance of glazing materials under human impact and complies to National Building Regulations.
